It's billed gothic pictures 3 months at a time and comes to about $160CDN gothic pictures for each of us. Even though we're not settled there permanently yet, you're required to enroll gothic pictures for the insurance right away and there's a 3 month waiting period. So I'm paying for insurance that doens't start until April 1st and we won't even be there to use it until July 1st. The price of socialized medicine. Hehe. Yeah, health care isn't entirely free as some outside Canada believe. It may be in other provinces, but not in British Columbia. 'Course they're considered to have one of the better provincial healthcare systems from what I gather. A lot of employers there provide supplemental insurance that covers things like drugs and dentistry as well.
