There's 1500 attendees this year. If the conference fee total was raised $50, few people would really notice, and that would amount to $75,000 to spend on wireless network support for five days. Pick an IP address somewhere in the range of 192.168.10.2-192.168.11.254. If you get a message about a conflict, change to something else. Why a wireless LAN that's NAT'ed and sits in RFC1918 space, with literally millions of IP addresses available to it, is having issues providing enough IP addresses for the subset of 1500 attendees that are using wireless is beyond me, but this is how I'm protecting myself from the DHCP Server Madness.
