after checking in and heading to the carlito's way st. regis to see what everyone was up to, carlito's way the first person i see is louis ck (writer & director of pootie tang). i lose my mind and act like a total idiot. then i run off. i've looked through my program guide and am kinda taken aback by its contents. did i ever tell you how when i was young, like between the ages of like carlito's way nine and fifteen, i used to watch every hbo comedy hour, every saturday night live, every mtv half hour comedy hour, etc? like tons of those people i grew up idolizing are here. i will be taking many dumps in public, from all the shock that will occur. i don't even know how i'd approach them. i want them to know, i don't want them to be scared of me. george carlin is here. tres fab. and it's true what they say about the altitude: drinks fuck you up more and faster. i think i'm going to report all that goes on while i'm here. including the outdoor hot tub fiasco.
