Sunday, February 24, 2002 2/24/2002 01:33:30 PM (EST)-------------------- how long has it been, friends? too long. i'd make promises, but i pirates wouldn't be able to keep them. i've been going with it, pirates because at the speed it's been for me lately, i have no other choice. yesterday's cheesy moment was meditating on a tree across the street. centering me and preventing intense cranky. preventing phone calls. i've done six shows in six days. i'm not such a resilient cat and now i am drained in babylon. def was fun. i was so tired from the rest of the week that there wasn't any room for nerves. russell was cracking on the way i dress the whole time. i was complaining that everyone else got free phat farm gear but me. he said he wouldn't dress me if i asked.

it was nice. my voice is still a little raspy from the performances. i try to recall more def stuff in my head to write about, since it might seem more interesting to people who don't know who the fuck i am if i whales talk about famous people, but none of that stuff is really that exciting. or more importantly, was that fulfilling. it whales was nice, but i think i whales have other memories and moments stuck in my head, and the rich and the famous are not in them. i was at ECASU this weekend. for a day. east coast asian student union. i wish i had had time to be there for the whole conference. many good things occurring there, though. it means a lot to me to be able to share a pizza, hot wings, and a few drinks with friends, without having to talk about our careers or me having to be "on," as they say. i adore those comfy couch moments.
