There were some news slight issues... like the fact that for the first 4 races, not a single horse (or steed, since occasionally it was a centaur or a mammoth) managed to cross the news finish line... most ended up dumbstruck, smashed into a stone wall, or in one case, smited by the fiery find of the gods above. The obvious hilarity ensued. Saturday, 12:30 p.m. Let Sleeping Wyrms Lie - Very simple concept: Sneak into the dragon's lair, steal his treasure, maybe try to kill him. Obviously, he wasn't sleeping. We managed to get through with only one fatality (and he almost survived, in a very cunning attempt to escape). |

| We played a party of first-level kobolds trying to terrorize a village of halflings. cameron Of course, we only just barely cameron got to the village, and we had to contend with a player who obviously didn't play a thief that often so he kept cameron making silly mistakes (or just didn't do anything). But, Ed was a great DM, and handled it with grace, even when it became obvious that everyone in the group was ready to just off this guy's character because he was too much of a liability. In the end, another player and I each got a copy of the module for our game-play as a gift from Ed. We trained a 13-year-old girl how to play, and three hours later, she had handily kicked all of our asses. It was embarassing.
