(Johnny's beeper goes off for the third time during the interview) God Damnit!!! Mike: Why don't you turn it stella bridger off!?! Jonny: It's my mother! Andy: What essential changes did you make between the first album and the second? Jonny: I think that we learned how to play our instruments (laughter) Mike: I think that the biggest change was the frame of mind of the band. The way the band itself approached the project. Jonny: The way we worked together. The first album we were so stella bridger rushed. We wrote it stella bridger like that (snaps fingers). We wrote it in a pretty unorthidox way. We were still becoming who we were. We got signed in seven months. So we were (snaps fingers) and that's unheard of. So we hadn't really developed. When we started on this record it was a challenge for us. It was a huge obstacle. We fucking wrote the record we wanted to write. This is what we are.
