Which, journal as anyone who's journal grown up there will tell you, is a positively miserable time of year. Anyhow, I digress. It's also a bit of a family reunion - minus the grandchildren. Heh. Yes, my grandmother, mother and her two brothers along with their various spouses and significant others are all aboard and us grandkids toil away in real-time. To get back journal to the initial point of this post. She just called me. I noticed the caller id on the mobile and picked it up and said "What's wrong???" You see, I hadn't expected her to call since we'd chatted last night. She replied, somewhat indignantly, "Nothing! I just wanted to say we're on the ship and sailing out of the harbor." Then the call mysteriously got disconnected. She's not all that technically savvy. I'm sure she clicked the wrong button. Ya know how, when the phone rings and you're not expecting it, like in the middle of the night, it scares the crap out of you and you assume someone's cashed in their chips.
