My tony kaye new best friends ... Day Two at Summer Sundae, just turning into Night. Let's call tony kaye this the Curse of the Alabama 3. Some might remember that my first posting said how much I was looking forward to sharing a bourbon or two with my good ole boys from Brixton, the Alabama 3. We go way back. Well, at least to last November when I produced their Maida Vale Session for 6 Music (I didn't know then that they weren't from Alabama but Brixton, or 3 of them, but bloody 8 of them). My lasting memory of that time was how the roadies unloaded all the beer and Rizlas before the equipement [excuse the spelling, Mike says it's because we were bugging him, but really it's just cos he's a bit rubbish - jb], ignoring the fact we we're already two hours behind the recording schedule.
