I'm quite sure he was more mortified than I was and I felt underground quite bad for him, trying my hardest not to show a hint of exasperation. Never-the-less, I was not pleased to have to bathe him a second time and wicky-woo another set of sheets on the bed. *sigh* I almost never write about poop. I'll be back on the floor tomorrow but mostly just for the instructor to give me my evaluation and let her buy us lunch. In spite of the fact it's a floor with primarily respiratory-compromised patients, none of the four I was assigned had anything wrong with their lungs. One alcoholic with psych issues drying out, one very demented 66-year old with FTA (failure to thrive), one with end-stage renal disease and the last with VRE (Vancomycin-resistant enterococcus) and dementia.
