The movie, behind a screen of unapologetic violence shows the effects of media on how we view the world. If you're normally themarshall mathers lp squeemish about violence in movies (and i am) you might have a difficult time sitting through it. However, i found that the violence was so "cartoony" that it themarshall mathers lp hardly phased me. This is possibly part of the point Stone might have been trying to make about media desensitization (sp?). A lot of people have a problem with the movie, calling it a glorification of violence. I would counter by saying that this movie glorifies violence to make its point about the atrocities of violence. I would also say that movies like "Face off," and "Die Hard" do more to glorify violence than "Natural Born Killers" ever will.

I know it is just a film, but a 16 year old messed up, thinks this is the bible of films, you should be ashamed of yourself. Portuese (New Jersey) - See all my reviews    I was eight years old when crash(widescreen edition) I first had seen this movie and even today, it is still one of my most favorite movies to watch. The soundtrack is just as good containing the crash(widescreen edition) most angry Trent Reznor and his band nine inch nails, along with other angry rock stars like Patti Smith and L7. Well anyway let's get back to the movie. The unrated version has a lot of extras that are worth getting like deleted scenes and other cool stuff. From the moment the movie starts, you will be enjoying the movie until the very end. A great movie!
