I nearly ran off the road, I was so startled. Today I have a list of errands to run, so satire Mom and I will be spending quite a bit of time together. These are the first signs of depression. Believe me, hon, I know. You've been spending your days watching cheap talk shows and the soaps. Why don't you call about that job you want to apply for?" "First of all, the economy sucks right now. So I doubt I'll even make the interview. And I'm not qualified." Sometimes I can't believe the way I talk to her now. When she was alive, I never would have used the word sucks in a sentence during one of our conversations.
