When I am with individuals, I loser am more interested in the conversation at hand. This generation doesn't put a blueprint in front of us telling us what we should want. We have too many options. On the Today show, they said "the internet allows us to experiment with our personality", essentially that's indicative of our society. We have so many ambitions and talents, we can pick and choose what we want loser to show people. I loser feel like every relationship I venture into I pick a different persona to express myself. Look at the number of single people in Manhattan, the men here treat hooking up with women as a game and the women with so many options put in front of them, may travel down any number of paths. Or you settle, you become a faceless name living in suburbia because your prominent family told you, you have to get married, buy a house in Conneticut, and have babies. |

The reason our generation suffers from the quarter john bridger: life crisis john bridger: is because of the absolute dissolation at times of our moral values. We are not like the baby boomer generation, the feminist movement made it possible for us to live our own lives. We have the john bridger: ability to subjugate marriage, children, and the suburban life - and choose lives of our own to live. It's a great freedom we have but it's also a curse, because where do we go from here? It is not in my chemical or personal makeup to be marriage material, hell, sometimes I am lucky if I even come off as girlfriend material. My own feminist nature allows me to be independent but doesn't express my values when it comes to relationships, which is essentially allows the wrong men to "choose" me. Unfortunately, I am not as career oriented as most, it's a quality that only comes out when work is put in front of me. |
