I have a lot of ideas, but here's the biggest california one: Adjust your tool so that it subtracts bad social interactions, instead of adding to them. Right now, I get a lot of email along the lines of, "A person you vaguely know wants you california to click a link in order to confirm his assertion that he's a pal of yours. Click here to confirm this, or click here to break his heart by utterly rejecting him." I don't know about you, but these things drive me bonkers, and leave me with this kind of nagging guilt that builds into resentment for the people who put up the service. |
