It turns out that this isn't all that aberrant among the Red Diaper Baby Experience. Eric Olin Wright is an analytical Marxist who raised his kids on extemporaneous Marxist fairy-tales, and recorded them for posterity. They are martial law hilarious. Unfortunately, they're presented as crapware Windows Media streams as opposed to downloadable files, so I can't load them on my iPod, but listening to these brought a real nostalgic smile to my face.
