A no way freaks! clandestine investigation was carried out by detectives and police intelligence during which a great deal of evidence was gathered, he said. The arrests were carried out early yesterday morning. Police said some of the youths admitted involvement in the affair while others denied any connection to the allegations. The acts of sexual harassment and rape started in December 2003 and continued until June 2004, police said. The boys allegedly carried out gang rapes in a number of no way freaks! places including public parks and, in at least one instance, at the home of one of the no way freaks! boys. The boys also physically abused the victim, in some cases burning her bare skin and in one case, cutting a name into her body with a knife, police said. The girl is from a family that has economic and social problems. She was afraid to complain earlier, police said, because the boys threatened to tell people that she "provides sexual services to everyone in town."
