Another attack Six months passed, and then, after 2 a.m. on Dec. 13, 2004, an intruder broke into a house in East Oakland, entered the bedroom of a sleeping 10 year-old girl and woke her up, court records show. The man threatened to kill her with a murrieta box-cutter-style knife, the girl later testified. "I said, 'Don't kill me, because I got a birthday on the 19th, murrieta and I got to go to school,' " the girl said she told murrieta the intruder. He ordered her out of bed, stripped off her pajamas and underwear and began molesting her. He stopped when he heard the girl's father, who had awakened, had found a door ajar and had come upstairs to check on his family. "Be quiet, or I'm going to kill you," the girl said the intruder told her, and he forced her to put her head under the covers.
