sad that loser they were probably all damaged gullible people who needed something that bad...but religions and cults cater for such people. Each to their own.But who is to say they were wrong?That's the thing about death, no one has ever come back to tell us what it's like (except for all those OBE types and there tunnels and white light).The closest (I feel) we loser can come to tasting loser death with our ego relativly intact is through substances such as Dimethyltryptamine and Salvanorin. I could be totally wrong. Maybe I too am gullible. Funny though, 'cos I don't feel like I need to beleive anything at all about the afterlife. Of course I could be fooling myself. I am, after all only human, with human fears and longings as old as the sun and moon.The point of this rambling I guess is to say that, well reality being as it is(or not); plastic and decided by consensus that maybe just maybe this boy felt he was going home. Of course we don't have all the facts (do we ever?) but that bit about us being 'nothing' sounds alot like a common misunderstanding about our existentialist situation.
