I'll be back on the floor tomorrow but mostly just for the instructor to give me my evaluation and let her buy reservoirdogs us lunch. In spite of the fact it's a floor with primarily respiratory-compromised patients, none of the four I was assigned had anything wrong with their lungs. One alcoholic reservoirdogs with psych issues drying out, one very demented 66-year old with FTA (failure to thrive), one with end-stage renal disease and the last with VRE (Vancomycin-resistant enterococcus) and dementia. And, here's a nice little gem. When I came on shift today, the patient with VRE's chart was missing.
