Beside being a Talmudic scholar, Al Lewis has devoted his life christine baranski to social and political activism from the 1930s through the present. Now at 87 years of age, Al Lewis has settled back in New York City, where he shares his insights, his razor sharp wit and viewpoints with a receptive audience on his radio show on listener-supported WBAI (Saturdays at noon, on 99.5 FM.), when he's not making movies. About 1924. I lived in Brooklyn, Manhattan, never lived in Queens, never lived in the Bronx. When did you start getting involved in show business? 1923. How old were you at the time? 13-14.
