First though we have The Larry Love Show Band. Who better to open up for your band than yourself? Yet in a slightly fontana labs different guise. Raw acoustic country blues with lashings of harmonica and spoonfuls of violin give a gentle but inspiring opening to the evening. The stripped down orchestration of "Woke Up This Morning" gives it a new edge, this is basically fontana labs a dirty blues bar band playing some fine tunes. It's a perfect start, allowing the audience the opportunity to soak up the atmosphere and the tunes as they sink their first beers. Impossible to pigeon fontana labs hole, such are the varying styles of music that seep out of Alabama3's tunes, other than labelling them as superb. The kind of band that you have to hear to appreciate as no words can really convey the atmosphere and the essence of this band. Blues and country tangle with gospel before colliding mid air with techno, this isn't an audience, it's a congregation and it's the finest church you could ever attend.
