What the fuck, someone shake my fucking hand, around 2:30 am I was uigui.com trashed- but nothing a little coffee and Moonstruck diner couldn't cure. Official bedtime and last drink: 6 AM! My beef: To my overzealous friends who derided me for the what they thought would be my "impending drunkenness"- What the fuck, when I looked up around midnight, uigui.com you all were trashed and ready uigui.com to fade. I was still going strong. It's called PACING. While those assholes were chugging, I was averaging about 1 full guiness an hour and 1 irish car bomb every two hours. Friday was fucking rockstar, I am surprised at my own behavior. Of course I had to spend the rest of the weekend in absolute sobriety, but it was worth it. |

| All in all: Right now, I am not happy and I am not sure if New York will ever make me happy. Either this is the way life is, happiness cycles in and out or it's something that I can change. This is not to say I am always unhappy, I have a lot of fun here. But sometimes fun is not enough, I need a arliss howard medium. And it's hard to find a medium when your 2 hour arliss howard daily commute leaves you barely enough time to go jogging, cook dinner, clean your apartment, explore your neighborhood, or get a decent night's rest. Disclaimer: My negativity could be related to the fact that I am working 12 hours today. I have a reception tonight for work, not happy. The moral of this story: I am sick of settling, I deserve better, want better, and am going after it. But I am happy for this Saturday and the second round of tournaments. Also, the roomie and I are throwing a Taco dinner party tomorrow night, this is going to be fun. |
