And with a bevy of new games coming out in the upcoming months, I can hear it now in homes across ptc America, kids campaigning to get their parents to buy or ptc rent the most recent "gotta' have it - can't live without it" game. Kids are experts at making parents feel like they are the only ones saying 'no' to a certain game. The fact is that a majority of parents (53%) say they "never" allow their children to play M-rated games, while another 37% of parents say they "sometimes allow" it. Further, as you'll read in this edition of our newsletter, 7 out of 10 parents check the ratings all or most of the time before purchasing a game.
