How about the protesters arrested in NYC during the Republican convention - held in jail and mostly released with no charges? It's called "disturbing the peace". They weren't traditional art arrested for having the wrong thoughts, they were arrested for violating the rights of others. You have the right to free speech; you don't have the right to force your speech on others and create a public nuisance. Peaceful assembly and demonstration is a key and integral part of a democracy.
