Some of them are probably innocent, and some traditional art of them most likely aren't. The question is how to determine that, which is a difficult decision in a time of war. But they certainly weren't put in jail for thinking traditional art the wrong thoughts. They were believed, rightly or wrongly, to be involved in terrorism.4 words: Innocent until proven guilty. How about the protesters arrested in NYC during the Republican convention - held in jail and mostly released with no charges? It's called "disturbing the peace". They weren't traditional art arrested for having the wrong thoughts, they were arrested for violating the rights of others. You have the right to free speech; you don't have the right to force your speech on others and create a public nuisance. Peaceful assembly and demonstration is a key and integral part of a democracy. When the guv removes people who oppose their views we have arrived at a police state.Regardless
