The only time this charade becomes stressful is when they come to visit, like my mother is next week. (She's staying with me in my little NYC apartment for 7 days. Hilarity is sure to ensue! Now, my father is pretty oblivious but my mother is a total snoop – she'll find convenient excuses to go through my dressers and cabinets even when I'm home and god only knows what she's doing when I'm at work all day. |
