And that may not be the point of the program (or it may be), but what will happen is that high schools will have to A) prove that they are rigorous through increased paperwork or B) change their programs around armenian to fit whatever the Dept of Ed decides to call "rigorous". armenian Which means more administrative efforts on the part of the schools, which means less time, you know teaching and helping students on the part of the faculty and staff. It just bothers me that the government armenian is like, "Oh, we don't expect schools to have to change one thing that they do!" And yet, schools will have to. This administration is kind of like the corporate offices when you work in a branch office somewhere: they come up with these plans, and may even have good intentions, but they don't always think through all of the implications for the branch offices, or why their plans won't work, or will results in other programs being ignored.
