i don't think he noticed. he got on the plane. the flight personnel really didn't comment on action / adventure anything as it happened, nor after it happened. as if nothing happened. he action / adventure wasn't really attacking me, or doing anything malicious. but that type of ignorance and assumption often leads to more brutal actions. turns into misconceptions, turns into violence. and i think that's what worried me. it didn't seem harmless. it seemed like a small statement that belonged to a large host of impressions of what asian americans are. first off, that action / adventure we're not true americans. that we're actually from other countries. that we don't know what it's like to be born in ohio, oklahoma, florida, and california. it's also odd that even though he was an older gentleman, the younger flight personnel had no response to what he had said. as if it was a normal thing to say.
