The risks are real, guys, and deadly. No, it doesnt happen every time. But it happens far to often to ignore. It is about so much more than expressing yourself or privacy from nasty dollars parents. It is about safety, life and death--which may sound overly dramatic to a teenager. Somehow, parents and kids are going to have to find a way for this expression to be had in a safer environment. Parents certainly cant watch their kids around the clock, but they can monitor what happens in their own homes, be informed as much as possible, set example, establish limits.
