Posted by: Erin | Friday, February 10, 2006 at 06:56 PM if parents have to snoop in the first place than a very important link in the chain no way freaks! has been broken (i.e) trust. and the lack of this trust would cause naive children to go out and form relationships with total strangers in what they see ass the "comfort" of their own home without the chance of harm. when the reality no way freaks! of it all is interweb relationships are just as dangerous as jumping into a car with a stranger. Then again my mother simply no way freaks! told me about the dangers in todays society rather than "snoop" and i stayed out of trouble. my father on the other hand would put restrictions on the computer and looked at the history on a daily basis when i would spend the summer with him. his reasoning "to keep me in line" the only problem was that i was rapidly growing more intelligent than my father especially in the field of new tech.
