I like the style as much as anyone else, but I think rather than base your entire style of drawing off of it, you'd do well to work and create your own style of drawing, and not copy what's 'popular' in the world of comics. It's important to practice many styles of art, and I occasionally draw 'anime style', but I don't incorporate it totally into my comic.

But hey, this is the real world.It seems about the only way to have a popular comic is to take the gimmicks and ideas that other people have had '8-Bit Theater, Mega-Tokyo) and create a ripoff comic strip based around that one gimmick or idea.
