In one sense prose I actually sort of agree with the souffles in that I would never recommend imparting uninvited discipline on a prose child you don't know.As a parent myself, I do get frustrated with vitriol directed at children when what should be under attack is the discipline of said children -- which in this case was clearly lacking; the parents should clearly have removed the noisemakers. Ane responsible parent would do that when their progeny encroaches on others' enjoyment.And of course, the responses you got from the parents were unacceptably stupid and you wouldn't have gotten any further had you addressed them first, but I think it might have been a more appropriate action.
